Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Philanthropy Manager, based in the London Area, United Kingdom. Part time of 80% will also be considered. The Philanthropy Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and grow relationships with major donors. Responsibilities include overseeing annual giving initiatives, coordinating charity campaigns, and driving overall philanthropic engagement to support Saferworld’s mission. The role requires regular communication with stakeholders and collaboration across teams to achieve fundraising goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in engaging and managing relationships with Major Donors and a strong understanding of Philanthropy.
- Proficiency in designing, executing, and evaluating Annual Giving and charity campaigns.
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to articulate the organization's mission and inspire stakeholder support.
- Passionate about working with Charities and committed to the principles of building safer and peaceful communities.
- Proactive mindset, organizational skills, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Familiarity with fundraising tools and CRM platforms is a plus.
- Experience in the international development or non-profit sector is desirable.
