Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Digital Technician to support our in-house photo studio operations and upcoming studio launch.
- The Digi Tech will be responsible for all on-set digital workflow, camera system setup, overseeing live capture upload, image quality control, studio technical preparation, and post-shoot file management.
- This role is critical to ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality studio photoshoots for our studio launch and ongoing studio workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Help set up, test, and troubleshoot all on-set digital capture equipment,including cameras, lenses, lighting systems, tethering devices, and studio technical workflows.
- Manage live tethered shooting during studio photoshoots, ensuring stable connection, real-time image preview, and zero workflow delays.
- Monitor image quality, exposure, colour accuracy, and sharpness on set;
- provide immediate technical adjustments for the creative team.
- Grading, prepping fast-turn around image deliverables (for talent approval and live upload on set).
- Support Battersea Studio setup, pre-launch preparation, technical training, and standard workflow establishment for the new studio.
- Organise, back up, label, and archive all shoot assets securely following studio file management standards.
- Oversee and maintain standardised filenaming structures across image workflow and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with photographers and creative cross-regional Art Direct teams (local and US) to align shoot requirements and brand standards.
- Maintain studio digital equipment inventory, perform regular device checks, and report technical issues for maintenance or replacement
- Assist in developing studio SOPs, technical guidelines, and onboarding training for new studio team members.
- Support pre-launch testing, trial shoots, and official launch campaign production.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a Digital Technician, Studio Tech, or related creative technical role in commercial photography or fashion studio environments.
- Solid knowledge of tethered shooting workflows, camera settings, colour management, and on-set digital operations.
- Familiar with professional studio equipment, lighting systems, and common shooting software
- Strong technical problem-solving skills to fix on-site equipment and workflow issues quickly.
- High attention to detail, able to maintain accurate file organisation and strict brand visual standards.
- Able to work flexible hours during studio setup, pre-launch preparation, and peak shoot periods.
- Great communication skills, able to coordinate effectively with internal and cross-border teams
- Passionate about visual quality, studio production, and brand creative output.
- Great collaborator who is calm and methodical under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Solid photo retouching and colour grading knowledge.
- Experience working with international creative teams or cross-region studio projects.
- Experience in new studio setup and workflow standardisation
- Familiar with commercial brand campaign production and launch projects.
