About the role
The position has arisen due to global growth and a desire to expand our business to enable us to further build on client relationships and service new opportunities. QCIC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist in project management for our clients. The successful candidate will coordinate and direct all facets of the project management effort, including bringing the right teams, tools, and information together and be able to work on several project simultaneously.
They will have day to day oversight so proven technical experience in enterprise level security management systems is critical. In addition, the ability to effectively drive the execution of the clients’ installation, service and advanced solutions strategies to exceed client expectations with cost effective solutions is key. The role will require the candidate to contribute to leading QCIC’s teams and partners to ensure client satisfaction, financial performance and account growth.
What you will do
Project Delivery
Overall responsibility for ensuring that projects are completed from design through to deployment within agreed deadlines, within budget and any potential issues escalated in line with internal policy whilst maintaining the clients’ best interestsManage on the provision of a professional security design service to clients following standardsProject manage a range of projects in relation to security system design and upgrades across multiple clientsAct as a point of escalation for the group both technically and operationallyWork competently on an independent basisWork collaboratively in a multidiscipline global teamCommunicate directly with clients and actively participate/lead meetingsContinually ensure that practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client’s and the Company’s best interests and that Company policy is in keeping with current legislation, International Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
Commercial
Review and approve all fee proposals and update internal systemsManage budgets for the projects within the accountBe able to report clearly on the progress and financials of the group and prepare weekly reporting for the Account Manager/Senior ManagementManagement of resources required for the teamReport regularly into key stakeholders on project progress identifying achievements and risksLiaise with client IT/Networks leads for software deploymentsLead on competitive RFP’s in line with clients requirementsProvide oversight and governance for multiple projectsGenerate proposals with technical and commercial considerationsActively participate in improving quality and internal processesSupport the business development team with technical enquiries
Business Development
Participate in marketing QCIC professional services internally and externally to showcase services on offer.Participate in team marketing activities.
What we are looking for
Qualifications
Proven experience in the management and delivery of projects within a corporate security environment. This experience could have been developed either through the integrator market or from client-side career history.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Capable of managing complex stakeholder environments within an operational corporate security environment. Candidates must have the skills and aptitude to make decisions happen quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining the best interests of QCIC and its clients.Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, IT, Engineering, Construction, or Business Administration or have a recognised formal qualification in Project ManagementAn understanding of Cyber securityExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
