Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in a full-time, on-site position located in Newcastle upon Tyne. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and individualised rehabilitation programs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and support clients in achieving their recovery and performance goals. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring junior staff and ensuring the clinic maintains its reputation for excellence in customer service and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Recognized degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., HCPC and CSP or equivalent).
- Proven clinical skills in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, including assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, motivate clients, and explain complex information clearly.
- Excellent clinical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
- Ability to manage a private caseload efficiently, maintain detailed and accurate documentation, and use clinic systems and digital tools effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality customer service, professional integrity, and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Experience working with athletic or high-performance populations, or a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, is highly desirable.
- Flexibility to work clinic hours as required and contribute positively to a small, collaborative team environment.
