Planning EPM Senior Consultant – Global Finance Transformation Consultancy (UK, Remote)


A leading finance transformation consultancy with a growing footprint across EPM/CPM implementation is looking for a Planning EPM Senior Consultant to join its UK team, working fully remote on a portfolio of exciting planning and forecasting projects for blue-chip clients.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on EPM implementation specialist to take ownership of end-to-end planning solution delivery, working closely with clients to translate complex financial and operational requirements into scalable, high-performing systems. The role sits within a fast-growing, collaborative practice with genuine scope for progression as the team continues to expand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and configure planning solutions across budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning and driver-based modelling
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical designs
  • Lead requirements workshops, design sessions, UAT and go-live activities
  • Develop dimensions, calculations, dashboards and reporting to support scalable planning processes
  • Configure integrations between EPM platforms and source systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve model performance issues, implementing enhancements as needed
  • Deliver end-user training, documentation and post-go-live support
  • Support junior consultants on project delivery and best practice


What You'll Need

  • Proven hands-on EPM implementation experience with one or more of the following: Planful, Anaplan, TM1, Vena, Pigment, or the planning module of OneStream
  • Planful experience (Desirable)
  • Multiple full lifecycle EPM/CPM implementations
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes — budgeting, forecasting, workforce and driver-based planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced consulting environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field (Desirable)
