PMO Analyst

London Area, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 2 weeks ago

This is your chance to help shape how change happens across Virgin. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our enterprise portfolio management capability, helping us make smarter decisions, spot risks earlier, and ensure our biggest priorities stay on track.

Working across a diverse portfolio of transformation programmes, business initiatives and strategic change, you’ll bring clarity to complexity through insightful analysis, meaningful reporting and strong governance. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and delivery teams across the business, helping turn data into decisions and plans into progress.

If you’re looking for a role where you can influence at an enterprise level, work with plenty of variety, and help shape what comes next, you’re in the right place.

A bit about us

Virgin is a global family of businesses built on a simple idea: do things differently, and do them better. From travel and health to media, finance and space, we create experiences that shake up the norm and make people smile.

For over 50 years, we’ve been driven by curiosity, bold thinking and a belief that business can be a force for good.

We’re a big brand, but not a big team. That means you’ll get stuck in, take real ownership, and see the impact of what you do every day. Around here, your career isn’t a straight line - it’s your adventure to shape.

What you'll be getting stuck into

  • Supporting and maintaining a joined-up view of change activity across the enterprise portfolio
  • Turning portfolio data into clear, actionable insight that helps leaders make informed decisions
  • Highlighting risks, dependencies, trends and delivery challenges before they become bigger issues
  • Supporting governance forums and executive reporting, ensuring information is clear, timely and decision-focused
  • Coordinating planning, performance, resource and delivery information across multiple initiatives
  • Helping evolve portfolio management tools, frameworks and ways of working as our capability continues to mature
  • Working with stakeholders across the business to drive transparency, alignment and portfolio performance

What you'll bring

  • Strong PMO experience supporting complex portfolios, programmes or enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight and recommendations
  • Experience preparing reporting and governance materials for senior stakeholders and leadership forums
  • Confidence working autonomously, navigating ambiguity and adapting as priorities evolve
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across different teams and functions
  • Curiosity, courage and a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for better ways of doing things

What you'll get in return

We know life doesn’t stop when work starts. So we’ve built our benefits to support you - at work and beyond.

Work – the foundations that set you up for the future, including a competitive pension, life assurance and options like our EV scheme

Spirit – space to grow and enjoy the journey, with a personal learning budget, mentoring, volunteering time… and our famous “Screw it, let’s do it” pot

It’s all designed to help you feel your best, do your best, and enjoy the ride - with a few extra Virgin touches along the way (because we don’t really do “standard”).

The essentials

Salary: £56,000 – £64,000 + bonus - we’re big on transparency, so no smoke and mirrors here. We’ll always offer a salary that reflects your experience, with room to grow within the range.

Bring your whole self

We welcome people from all walks of life, with all kinds of experiences and ways of thinking. Different perspectives, however your mind works, help us see things differently and do things better.

If there’s anything we can do to support you through the hiring process, just let us know, we’ll always do our best to make it work for you.

We believe in using business as a force for good, creating positive change for our people, our communities and the world around us. That includes being a Fair Chance employer and championing strengths like dyslexic thinking - staying open, listening to individual circumstances and focusing on potential.
