Role summary

You'll deliver the technical implementation of Posit (formerly RStudio) solutions for our clients, acting as the primary technical expert across multiple client deployments. The role involves architecting, implementing and optimising Posit infrastructure and workflows, and collaborating closely with client stakeholders. You'll play a key part in enabling scalable, secure and efficient data science environments using the Posit ecosystem.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the design and deployment of Posit Workbench, Connect and Package Manager in enterprise environments, across multiple client engagements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their data science infrastructure needs and translate them into scalable Posit solutions.
• Develop and maintain reproducible workflows using R, Python and Quarto.
• Ensure best practices in security, governance and DevOps for Posit environments.
• Conduct performance tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting of Posit platforms.
• Deliver training and documentation to empower client teams.
• Stay current with Posit product updates and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Key competencies and skills

• Deep expertise in the Posit ecosystem (Workbench, Connect and Package Manager), including hands-on experience designing and deploying it.
• Strong Linux server administration (RHEL/Rocky/Alma or Ubuntu).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible).
• Identity and access integration for enterprise environments (SAML, OIDC, LDAP/Active Directory).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead the technical delivery of client projects.
• Experience working in a consultancy or client-facing role.

Preferred qualifications

• Posit certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with enterprise IT environments and security protocols.
