Role Description The Practice Manager is a full-time role based in Belfast with a hybrid working options, combining on-site presence in the city centre office and some work-from-home flexibility. The role includes overseeing day-to-day practice operations, coordinating workflows, and ensuring client engagements are delivered efficiently and on schedule. The Practice Manager will support resource planning, manage internal processes and systems, and assist with financial administration such as billing, reporting, and monitoring key performance indicators. They will help maintain high standards of client service, support compliance with regulatory and firm policies, and collaborate closely with partners, accountants, and advisors to improve processes and drive continuous improvement. The role may also involve contributing to business development activities, supporting marketing initiatives, and assisting in onboarding and training team members.

Qualifications

  • Strong practice management and operations skills, including workflow coordination, resource planning, and process improvement.
  • Experience with accounting or professional services environments, with an understanding of client engagement lifecycles and basic financial administration.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with office software and practice management tools; comfort working with data, reports, and KPIs.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while contributing actively to a close-knit team in Belfast.
  • Relevant experience in practice management, office management, or operations in a professional services firm; a qualification in business, management, or a related field is beneficial.
