Procurement Specialist
We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a high-performing team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across a range of projects, driving value, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.
You will be required to work on a hybrid basis of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote for the duration of the project.
This role is a contract position working inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver end-to-end procurement activity, from sourcing strategy through to contract award
- Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and provide commercial support
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and selection
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and relevant regulations
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to drive value and performance
- Support contract management activities, including risk mitigation and performance tracking
- Produce clear procurement documentation, reports, and audit trails
- Proven experience in a procurement or sourcing role within complex environments
- Experience across Estates, Finance, People, Pensions and Operations
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance, and best practice
- Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and deliver commercial outcomes
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations or frameworks
- Professional procurement accreditation (e.g. CIPS)
