Role: Product Owner
Location: Manchester/ Bristol (3days/week On-Site)

Product Ownership & Strategy:
- Lead the vision and roadmap
- Define the strategy for the end to end data product lifecycle
- Embed “governance and lifecycle by design” principles
Core Data Management Capabilities:
- Data Quality & Controls
- Metadata Management
- Data Contracts
- Data Observability & Reporting
- Data Retention & Lifecycle Management
Automation & AI Enablement:
- Drive introduction of AI and agent based automation to:
- Automate metadata capture and lineage
- Support intelligent contract creation
- Detect and resolve data issues proactively
- Orchestrate lifecycle workflows
Cross Platform Delivery:
- Deliver solutions across on prem and cloud environments
- Partner with engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalable, interoperable design
- Support transition to cloud-native, data management guided by detailed information
Stakeholder Leadership:
- Collaborate with business domains, governance teams and engineers
- Translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical product capabilities
- Manage dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives
Outcome & Value Focus:
- Measure success through:
- Adoption and reuse of data management capabilities
- Improvements in data quality and trust
- Reduction in data risk and incidents
- Increased automation and efficiency
