Production Readiness Coordinator

📍 Southampton | Full Time | Office Based

SIVA Group is one of the UK's leading flexible packaging manufacturers, supplying customers across food, agriculture, industrial and consumer markets.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual to become the final quality gate between our office teams and manufacturing operations.

This is not a traditional administration role. You will be responsible for ensuring every production job is fully prepared, technically correct and ready to run before it reaches the factory floor.

The successful candidate will work closely with Customer Services, Planning, Technical, Quality, Pre-Press and Production teams to eliminate avoidable downtime, quality issues and costly mistakes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review production job packs before release to manufacturing

• Verify specifications, artwork and laysheets, BOMs and manufacturing instructions are accurate

• Ensure materials, inks, plates, sleeves, aniloxes and tooling requirements are available and correctly specified

• Confirm quality and testing requirements are clearly defined

• Challenge missing or incorrect information and prevent jobs being released until issues are resolved

• Attend daily planning meetings and report production readiness status

• Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Help drive improvements in Right First Time, OTIF and production efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Confidence to challenge and hold departments accountable

• Manufacturing, packaging, printing or technical administration experience preferred

• Experience working within ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous

• A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
