What is it like to work in this office?

Our Oxford office is growing, and this is a unique opportunity to come in and help shape its future.

You'll be joining a growing team at an exciting stage of our development, with the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the continued expansion of our Project Management offering in the region.

This isn't about fitting into an existing structure. It's about helping to build it. You'll have the autonomy to support projects, strengthen client relationships, and help influence the growth of the Oxford office, while being supported by experienced colleagues across the wider Ward Williams network.

It's a role that offers something different. The backing, credibility, and resources of an established national consultancy, combined with the visibility, flexibility, and opportunity that comes with being part of a growing office.

You won't feel isolated. You'll be connected to a wider team of Project Managers across the business, with access to support, knowledge sharing, and collaboration, while still having the space to make your mark locally.

Your profile:

You'll support the delivery of construction projects from initial planning through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

  • Chartered (MRICS, MCIOB, APM) or working towards chartered status.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a construction project management consultancy role.
  • Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
  • Good understanding of construction, procurement and contract administration.
  • Experience managing project budgets, programmes and risks.
  • Knowledge of JCT, NEC or similar contracts.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
  • Experience with Asta Powerproject or MS Project would be beneficial.

What we offer employees:

  • Hybrid working with flexible hours in the office to foster collaboration.
  • Competitive salary that rewards your skills and experience.
  • Tailored training and development to help you reach your goals.
  • Generous 38 days of annual leave, including public holidays.
  • Your birthday off to celebrate in style.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave for growing families.
  • Employer pension contributions of 6% to secure your future.
  • Life Cover worth three times your salary for peace of mind.
  • Access to Aviva Digicare+ with virtual GP and wellness support.
  • Comprehensive in-house wellbeing services.
  • Opportunities for charitable fundraising and dedicated volunteering days.
  • Active participation in professional and industry organisations.
  • Regular sports and social events to build connections.
