Location: South East England (Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential)

Hours: Full-Time

Rate: Dependent on experience

This is a specialist Project Management role within a GMP-regulated environment. Applicants must have previous experience delivering projects within Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or other GMP-regulated industries.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of key projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and results-focused Project Manager who thrives on driving projects through to successful completion while balancing delivery, quality and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of project delivery from initiation through to completion.
• Define and agree project scope, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop, manage, and maintain realistic project plans and timelines.
• Drive on-time delivery by actively monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and resolving issues that may impact project outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and project execution.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively implementing solutions to avoid delays.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand challenges, remove barriers, and facilitate successful delivery.
• Ensure all project activities are completed in accordance with GMP, quality, and compliance standards.
• Partner with Quality Assurance and Validation teams to maintain inspection readiness and robust project documentation.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion, with full accountability for outcomes.
• Previous Project Management experience within a GMP-regulated Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP requirements, quality systems, validation activities, and regulatory expectations.
• A proactive, hands-on, and action-oriented approach to project management.
• Experience working directly with technical, engineering, manufacturing, validation, and quality teams to understand challenges and drive practical solutions.
• The ability to balance project delivery, quality requirements, and regulatory compliance simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Resilience, determination, and persistence in ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the required standard.
