Hitachi is hiring a Project Manager who will lead and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation across diverse business units.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget forecasting, and timeline management.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing effective contingency plans.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular, accurate reports to senior management.
  • Manage project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Implement and enforce project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Ensure projects comply with all relevant company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex projects.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
