Project Manager (Intermediate & Graduate)

Our teams provide expertise in civil engineering, transportation, environmental services, water infrastructure, planning, and landscape architecture, supporting a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients.

As our project portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking Graduate and Intermediate Project Managers to join our Belfast office. These roles offer the opportunity to work on a wide range of infrastructure and development projects, supporting project delivery from inception through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on experience, you will support or take responsibility for the successful delivery of multidisciplinary civil engineering and infrastructure projects through all stages of the project lifecycle. Working closely with senior project managers, technical teams, clients, and stakeholders, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex projects.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting or leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Developing and managing project programmes, milestones, and resource plans
• Assisting with procurement activities, contractor engagement, and performance management
• Supporting compliance with NEC contracts, statutory requirements, and internal governance procedures
• Managing project risks, change control processes, and reporting requirements
• Monitoring project budgets, schedules, quality standards, and performance
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Intermediate Project Manager

The successful candidate will:

• Have 2–4 years' experience within a consultancy, contractor, or construction environment
• Demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver projects with appropriate senior support
• Possess a sound understanding of project governance, programme management, and cost control principles
• Have experience of working under NEC contracts (desirable)
• Be working towards, or planning to pursue, professional chartership (RICS APC, APM, or equivalent)

Graduate Project Manager (from September 2026)

The successful candidate will:

• Hold, or be on track to achieve, an MSc in Construction Project Management (Queen's University Belfast preferred)
• Have previous experience within a construction consultancy, contractor organisation, or through an industrial placement
• Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills
• Show a genuine interest in developing a career in project management within the infrastructure sector
• Be motivated to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
