Quality Manager
Salary: £59,000 per anum

Main Tasks of the Job:
- Ensure that processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented and maintained
- Maintain the performance of the QMS and any need for changes to the QMS, opportunities for improvement and resource needs
- Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation
- Establishment and management of London City Airport’s Quality Management System that meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and regulators, CAA, DfT
- Performing and managing all responsibilities of QMS requirements ¦ Single point of contact for audit management ¦ Performing internal audits ¦ Coordinating external audits with accreditation companies and stakeholders ¦ Follow-up audit results, non-conformities, corrective actions to improve compliance and maintain the QMS
- Plans and carries out internal audits on Quality, to verify that the Quality Management System is effective, properly implemented and maintained – support to external audits.
- Accountable for Document and Business Process Management System across the airport. Follow-up DMS requirements and give training for DMS. Ensure all company policies, procedures, processes are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner and align with LCY High Level Process Structure.
- Responsible for the Airport Management of Change (MoC) process in accordance with the Airport’s Safety Management and QMS Manual
- Initiates Management Reviews of and reports on, the Management System to ensure its continued suitability and effectiveness and to foster its continuing improvement
- Represents the Company during evaluations and audits of the Management System conducted by external assessors and co-ordinates the response to the evaluations
- Drive Continuous Improvement Activities related integrated management system.
- Provide dynamic management support for QMS to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient operation; work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain the existing airfield infrastructure.
- Provide training and workshops for Document Management, Audit Management, Problem Solving and Quality induction.
- Responsible for the risk register for the Quality and Compliance department, ensuring it is up to date and reflects an accurate view of the Aerodrome and compliance risks. Ensure any hazards or unsafe acts are reported through the Accident and Safety reporting scheme and to the relevant managers.

- Demonstrable track record within the sphere of Quality and working knowledge of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001/ISO45001
- Working knowledge of implementation of document management systems at Corporate level
- Excellent analytical organisation and planning, with in depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong working relationships and to influence and negotiate at all levels both internally and externally (E)
Qualifications:
Education & Training
- Relevant Education or demonstrable experience in Quality Management
- Chartered Quality Professional
- Auditor / Lead Auditor Qualifications and +10 auditing experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Significant experience within the aviation or safety-critical industry

Hours of Work:
Full Time/Hybrid
The role requires CTC clearance, you must have resided in the UK for the past three years to apply for clearance.
