We are now looking for a Recovery Coordinator to join our East Sussex service—someone who can bring skill, empathy, and professionalism to support people on their recovery journey.
This role requires a balance of clinical awareness, strong organisation, and genuine compassion.
Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About The Role

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will take the lead in coordinating personalised recovery journeys, supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol use to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
You will
- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop tailored recovery and support plans
- Manage a caseload, providing structured one-to-one and group-based interventions
- Support individuals to engage with treatment options, services, and wider recovery opportunities
- Proactively manage risk and reduce harm, ensuring safe and effective interventions
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant record keeping and reporting
- Support individuals to build resilience, independence, and long-term recovery goals
You are motivated by making a difference and confident in working in a dynamic, person-centred environment.
You will bring
- Experience of managing caseloads and supporting individuals with complex needs
- A strong understanding of substance misuse, harm reduction, and recovery approaches
- Knowledge of mental health interventions and best practice
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Confidence in working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently
- Substance misuse services
- Health and social care
- Housing or rehabilitation services
- Criminal justice or prison settings
- Children and young people’s services
- Hospital or community health settings
