As a Registered Manager within our Family Assessment service, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for families. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Family Assessment Centre, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for families and staff.
- Assess and support parents to promote the safety, wellbeing, and development of their children.
- Safeguard children and parents through effective assessment, care planning, regular reviews, and risk management.
- Support, mentor, and guide parents in developing essential parenting skills and building confidence in their abilities.
- Work collaboratively with families to help them achieve positive outcomes and long-term stability.
- Provide practical advice, emotional support, and guidance tailored to each family’s individual needs.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding to challenges with resilience, adaptability, and a solution-focused approach.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the staff team, creating a positive culture focused on high-quality care and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership and direction during shifts, ensuring consistent standards and effective team collaboration.
- Mentor and support new or less experienced staff, encouraging confidence and professional development.
- Oversee staff recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development, identifying opportunities for growth and learning.
- Deliver effective supervision, probation support, and performance management to ensure staff feel supported and empowered.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional care and ethical practice.
- Ensure staffing rotas are effectively managed to maintain safe staffing levels and continuity of care.

Our Ideal Candidate should:
- Experience of working with Ofsted within a childrens' or young persons residential environment (Essential)
- Hold a Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma (or equivalent). (Essential)
- Either hold or be committed to completing their Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for health & social care children & young people services.
- Have a minimum two years' experience working in Family Assessment or a similar field.
- Prioritises the safety and well-being of children.

- Have experience leading and motivating a staff team.
