We're supporting a leading international financial institution on a major regulatory transformation and are looking to appoint an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation of mandatory e-Invoicing and e-Reporting frameworks across multiple international jurisdictions.


The Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in analysing, documenting and translating regulatory requirements and business requirements for the implementation of the e-Invoicing and e-Reporting mandates, as well as testing them in conjunction with the chosen vendor. The BA will work closely with Compliance, Tax, Finance, Legal and IT teams to ensure full alignment with the requirements as well as internal business operations across impacted locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret e-invoicing regulatory requirements for the relevant entities
  • Translate legal and compliance documentation into actionable business and functional requirements
  • Engage stakeholders to gather business needs and validate regulatory and data input/processing impact
  • Define and document business processes and workflows for B2B/B2G electronic invoicing and reporting
  • Collaborate with technical team to design, document and test compliant solutions
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate implementation against requirements
  • Ensure traceability between regulatory requirements, business needs and technical specifications
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assess their impact on business operations where applicable
  • Liaise with external platforms (PPF/PDP) where applicable


Key Skills/experience:

  • Extensive experience supporting financial institution(s) working as a Business Analyst on Regulatory projects such as regulatory reporting, transaction reporting, EMIR, SFTR, FATCA, Tax reporting.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret regulatory requirements, including regulatory reporting
  • Experience of working alongside vendors in delivering integrated solutions
  • Previous experience / exposure to e-invoicing implementation highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with e-Invoicing formats (UBL, Factur-X, XML) and data flows preferred but not essential
  • Familiarity with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable process a bonus
