Our client is a global financial services firm that manages wealth, navigates complex markets, and designs strategic financial objectives. The firm provides risk management solutions across a variety of sectors, emphasizing long-term relationships, and innovative approaches to financial challenges.

The Role
As a Regulatory Controllers, you will be required to ensure the company maintains sufficient capital resources.

This role forms part of the Financial Control Group, who are responsible for monitoring regulatory compliance for UK and EU entities, reporting of capital usage and enhancing capital efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Support team lead in managing Credit and Market Risk Capital processes and controls.

• Focus on capital rules (e.g., Basel III, B3EG, FRTB), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with Project/Tech teams to implement calculations, improve controls, and streamline processes.
• Respond to data requests from senior management and regulators; conducting impact analyses as needed.
• Present data to senior management and coordinate closely with Risk, Business Units, Finance teams, and Operations.

What You Bring:

• 4-5 years' relevant work experience within a Financial Services, Banking or Big 4 organization
• Degree in mathematics, finance, accounting or economics (a financial professional qualification would be desirable)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential.
• Knowledge of capital rules/regulations (Basel III, B3EG, FRTB) and capital calculations
• Familiarity with both UK and EU markets; regulatory knowledge (PRA, JST, EBA) is a plus.
• Experience handling complex data and resolving intricate issues.
