Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Residential Support Worker based in Hinckley. The role involves supporting young people in daily activities, promoting their emotional well-being, and helping them achieve personal goals. Responsibilities include supervising and assisting with routines, maintaining a safe and positive living environment, and fostering development through guidance and encouragement. Coordination with other team members and participation in care planning are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, residential support, or similar roles
- Skills in building rapport and positive relationships with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of young people and the home
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care or child care are desirable
- Hold or be willing to work toward a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
