Sales & Business Development Lead
Full Time - Hybrid (Three days in our office per week - Chelford, Cheshire)

Founded by a team of seasoned professionals, Silver Lining works across multiple digital games such as Outbound, Spirit of the North 2 and Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation. Our upcoming games include Quite a Ride, The Witch’s Bakery and The Road of Dust and Sorrow. Silver Lining is also already a major player in the physical publishing space, with titles like Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Absolum, Tiny Bookshop and The Alters already shipped and Dave the Diver, House Flipper 2 and many more to come.

Your Role
As Sales & Business Development Lead you will be instrumental in identifying exciting new opportunities for publishing, and unlocking untapped revenue streams, ensuring our releases maximise their commercial potential. You will also manage the sales pipelines and platform partnerships that are key to ensure smooth and successful releases and long-term revenue.
Your regular day will see you
Scout, negotiate and pitch on behalf of Silver Lining for new business opportunities via a variety of outreach methods
Forecast, assess and present new business opportunities, making recommendations based on their strengths and weaknesses
Plan and manage platform sales pipelines and discounting
Collaborate closely with internal teams to align marketing beats and ensure a smooth sales function

Requirements
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
A detailed knowledge of platform storefront management
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen, with experience in forecasting and profitability evaluation
A passion for a variety video games and a grasp of trends and industry market conditions
Strong negotiation skills, with a deep understanding of how differing commercial terms can affect business models
Proven ability to build and cultivate long-term relationships with developers, platform partners and global distributors
Nice to have
Experience with physical publishing and distribution
Strong industry contact network
Salary
£35,000 - £50,000 p/a DOE (exclusive of bonus scheme)
