Sales Development Representative
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid – 3 to 4 days per week in office, Old Street)

One of our clients, a fast-growing SaaS company in the cloud data security and cyber resilience space, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for a highly driven sales professional who enjoys prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and building pipeline within Mid-Market and Large Enterprise accounts. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, you will play a critical role in driving new business growth and contributing directly to the company's sales success.
- Identify, engage, and qualify prospective customers who are not currently using the company's solutions.
- Generate qualified pipeline opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting activities.
- Research target accounts and key decision-makers to develop effective outreach strategies.
- Manage and qualify inbound inquiries generated through webinars, content downloads, events, and demo requests.
- Assess prospect fit and business needs across Mid-Market and Large Enterprise segments.
- Ensure high-quality opportunities are rapidly progressed to the sales team.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns tailored to different customer segments.
- Leverage phone, email, LinkedIn, and sales engagement platforms to connect with prospects.
- Navigate complex organizations and engage multiple stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business challenges, current environments, and strategic priorities.
- Identify pain points related to data security, backup, cyber resilience, and cloud infrastructure.
- Clearly articulate business value and align solutions with customer needs.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop territory plans and account strategies.
- Schedule high-quality meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Provide detailed prospect insights and qualification notes to support successful sales engagements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce.
- Track prospect interactions, activities, and pipeline progression.
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to sales processes.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), or similar new business acquisition role.
- Proven track record of generating and qualifying sales opportunities through outbound prospecting.
- Experience engaging with Mid-Market and Enterprise-level organizations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage inbound lead flow while maintaining a consistent outbound prospecting cadence.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience selling or supporting SaaS, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, Backup, or Infrastructure solutions.
- Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts in business-oriented language.
- Experience using:
- Salesforce (SFDC)
- Outreach or Salesloft
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Strong research, discovery, and qualification capabilities.
- Consistently generating qualified pipeline opportunities.
- Delivering high-quality meetings for Account Executives.
- Maintaining strong conversion rates from inbound and outbound activities.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts.
- Contributing to overall revenue growth through effective prospecting and qualification.
