Impact And Responsibilities

The SDR is responsible for hunting, qualifying, and generating a high-quality pipeline within the legal sector. They are the first point of contact for prospective clients, utilising data-driven outreach and deep industry context to book qualified meetings for Sales Managers.

We are offering a genuine launchpad from SDR to Sales Manager. By positioning a critical, problem-solving product within the legal sector you will drive tangible growth in a business that invests in its commercial talent. If you have the attitude and drive for results, we have the environment to fast-track your success.

  • Execute multi-channel outreach across cold calling, personalised email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Attend and represent Shieldpay at industry events, building pipeline and market presence in equal measure
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads by understanding prospect pain points, mapping them to our solutions, and applying a clear qualification framework
  • Maintain a consistent volume of qualified discovery calls each week, feeding a pipeline the business can rely on
  • Work closely with marketing and the sales team to align on campaigns, share market intelligence, and continuously sharpen outreach strategy

  • Confident and comfortable across all outbound channels - cold calling, email sequencing, and LinkedIn - with the ability to personalise outreach in a way that gets a response
  • A track record of hitting or exceeding outbound activity targets with a resilient, positive mindset when faced with rejection
  • At ease in face-to-face environments with experience networking or representing a brand at industry events
  • Self-directed and proactive, you take ownership of your own development and bring energy and ideas to the team
