Whittington – Barnet;Full time.

We are looking for a motivated practitioner with excellent communication skills, strong clinical leadership, and the ability to work independently whilst leading a team.

If this is you Barnet would love to hear from you.

The Barnet 0-19 Service recently joined Whittington Health, which delivers community services across five London boroughs. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and an expanding team. Come and join us on our journey as we develop our staff and enhance our offer to families.

Barnet is a large, richly diverse and dynamic borough and as a member of the 0-19 Service, you will be part of a team that is integrated, friendly and supportive. We deliver a local needs-led service ensuring that children and their families are at the heart of what we do. There are opportunities to work differently with many partners on different sites. We have some great networks supporting inclusivity and well-being, all in a borough which is easy to navigate, central and reached via lots of different routes.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Team Leader within the Barnet School Nurse team. If you are an experienced school nurse, we would really like to hear from you.

We are looking for experienced practitioners who want to work in and lead a school nurse team in Barnet. We are looking for warm and engaging candidates with strong leadership skills and a sound understanding of the Healthy Child Programme, and Safeguarding policy and practice. We can offer you a friendly supportive team to manage, regular supervision and extensive evidence-based training with skills practice to carry out your role.

Whittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone. Nowhere is this more obvious than in the way we look after our staff. We aim to employ a workforce which is as representative as possible of this population, so we are open to the value of differences in age, disability, gender, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, race, sexual orientation, and religion or belief. The Trust believes that as a public sector organisation we have an obligation to have recruitment, training, promotion and other formal employment policies and procedures that are sensitive to these differences. We think that by doing so, we are better able to treat our patients as well as being a better place to work.
