- Design and implement enterprise-grade secrets and key management solutions.
- Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to strengthen application security.
- Contribute to secure, scalable, and compliant cloud and hybrid environments.
The Role
As a Secret Management Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise secrets and key management solutions. You will ensure the secure handling of credentials, cryptographic keys, and sensitive data across cloud and hybrid environments, supporting secure DevOps practices and compliance requirements.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and manage secrets and key management platforms across enterprise systems.
- Implement and manage credential lifecycle processes, including generation, storage, rotation, and revocation.
- Enforce encryption standards and secure data handling practices across applications and infrastructure.
- Integrate secrets management solutions into CI/CD pipelines to support secure DevOps workflows.
- Define and enforce secure access models aligned with enterprise security policies.
- Enable audit logging, monitoring, and traceability for all secrets usage.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to enable secure application deployment.
- Support automation of security controls and secrets lifecycle management processes.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in secrets and key management.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms and secure infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of encryption standards, credential management, and secure access controls.
- Understanding of compliance, audit, and security governance requirements.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
