As an SEMH Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
You will:
Deliver creative and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Build positive and trusting relationships with students
Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and personal development
Work collaboratively with families, support staff, and external agencies
Celebrate progress, however big or small, and help students achieve meaningful outcomes
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience working with SEMH, SEND, or vulnerable learners
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Is patient, empathetic, and resilient
- Has a genuine passion for improving the lives of young people
- Believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed
