Senior Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Senior Accountant to join our friendly team providing accountancy to a number of clients across various business sectors.

As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaising with clients regarding accounts, tax returns and other issues.
• Review of junior accounts staff work and completion for client.
• Management accounts.
• Having a portfolio of self-assessment and partnership tax returns to complete each year.
• Supporting and guiding junior staff.
• Answer ad hoc client queries via telephone/email.

The ideal Senior Accountant will have:

• Experience of Iris, Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
• Extensive tax knowledge of all areas of personal and corporate taxation.
• The Ablity to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
• A Friendly and confident manner.
• Experience working as part of a team and alone.
• A track record working to tight deadlines and unsupervised.
• 5 years experience within an Accountancy practice.
