The Senior Administrator is responsible for the day‑to‑day management and coordination of administrative functions within the Adult ADHD Service. The post provides supervision and support to administrative staff and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of service operations, including prescription administration, audit activity, and compliance with NICE guidance.

The role works closely with Operational and Clinical Leads to support service performance, governance, and high‑quality administrative processes that enable safe and effective service delivery.

  • Provide day‑to‑day guidance, supervision, and support to the administrative team.
  • Coordinate and monitor workloads to ensure timely and effective completion of administrative tasks.
  • Support prescription administration processes, including audits and safe‑prescribing activity in line with NICE guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure effective use of IT systems in line with data protection and governance requirements.
  • Liaise with clinical teams, service users, and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
