33kV SAP - North West
I'm currently working with an established utility infrastructure business that's continuing to grow thanks to a strong pipeline of work across the power and energy sector. They're looking for an experienced 33kV SAP to join their team and support a range of projects across the North West.
The Role
- Act as Senior Authorised Person up to 33kV
- Take responsibility for HV switching and isolation procedures
- Prepare and review switching schedules and safety documentation
- Oversee HV works, commissioning and energisation activities
- Ensure works are carried out safely and in line with relevant HV safety rules
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, clients and site teams
- Support the delivery of 33kV substations and associated electrical infrastructure
What We're Looking For
- 33kV SAP authorisation
- Strong experience working across HV electrical networks
- Experience with HV switching and isolation
- Substation, ICP, DNO or IDNO experience
- Understanding of HV safety rules and electrical safety procedures
- Experience working on projects within the utility, power or energy sector
Salary: Up to £75k + van and fuel card + overtime available
Location: North West – Site based / travel across the region
