We are excited to offer new opportunities within our highly respected pharmacy team, working across Chester, Wirral and Macclesfield. Due to new investment in our workforce, we are now recruiting passionate pharmacy professionals to join our friendly, multidisciplinary teams.
Our dispensing service is fully outsourced, freeing you from dispensary commitments and allowing you to focus on clinical practice. In addition, on-call responsibilities are managed remotely, offering greater flexibility and work–life balance.
Role Highlights
We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Stockport.

Role Highlights
- Deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services
- Undertake medicines reconciliation, reuse checks, and ordering
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines use
- Support specialist areas including perinatal mental health (Mother & Baby Unit), CAMHs inpatient services, low secure forensic units & MHIST (mental health intensive support team)
- Contribute to service development, audit, teaching and quality improvement
- Opportunities to develop clinical expertise and leadership skills
- To provide, develop and promote a responsive, patient focused, highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to patients and staff within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
- To deliver specialist information and expert advice to all members of the multidisciplinary team to maximise patient pharmaceutical care and ensure that medicines are prescribed, administered and supplied in a safe, effective and economic manner and to reduce harm caused by medication errors.
- To provide direct supervision and training to clinical pharmacy staff, develop and provide training regarding the use of medicines and medicines management principles to clinical staff, non-clinical staff, service users and carers.
- To support the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Services- Bed Based & Place Based in the delivery of all aspects of the Pharmacy Service
