Senior Content Marketing Executive

Location: City of London

Senior Content Marketing Executive — Wealth Management — City of London

Are you a writer first and a marketer second?

We are recruiting a Senior Content Marketing Executive for a well-established wealth management firm in the City. This is a content-led role — roughly 60–70% of your week will be spent writing, editing and shaping content, not managing process.

You will sit in a collaborative marketing team, working alongside investment managers, wealth planners and external agencies, and you will own how the firm sounds across everything its clients and intermediaries read.

What you will be doing

  • Planning, writing, editing and proofing content for clients, prospects and intermediaries — website, email, social, newsletters, market updates, client letters, campaign journeys and adviser-facing materials
  • Turning financial planning, wealth management and personal finance subjects into clear, engaging writing that people actually want to read
  • Building and delivering editorial calendars and campaign content plans
  • Working directly with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate, relevant and audience-focused
  • Using audience insight, email performance and website analytics to sharpen content over time
  • Partnering with the digital team on search visibility, SEO best practice and emerging AI-driven search behaviours
  • Supporting event and webinar communications — invitations, presentations and follow-ups
  • Acting as guardian of brand and tone of voice, and making sure everything produced is compliant with FCA and internal requirements

What we are looking for

  • Around 2–3 years' marketing or content experience gained in financial services — wealth management, asset management or IFA/intermediary marketing is ideal
  • Genuinely strong writing and editing. This role is creative copywriting, not fund factsheet production — you should be comfortable being judged on your prose
  • Experience writing for affluent, high-net-worth or professional adviser audiences
  • A degree in English, another written discipline, or a marketing qualification is preferred
  • Confident with Word, PowerPoint and Excel; CMS and email marketing platform experience is useful
  • Organised, self-starting, and able to juggle a high volume of work to deadline
  • An understanding of working within a regulated environment
