Senior Demand Planning Manager - FTC

Please note this is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract until September 2027.


The Senior D2C Demand Planning Manager ensures the D2C team works efficiently and accurately to get the right stock to the right place and time to maximise sales to the FitFlop customer. The manager identifies the overall team strategy by setting team KPIs and processes, also managing the communication between teams.


Our Demand Planning team work closely with our Commercial, Product Merchandising, Finance and Supply Planning teams through Range Reviews, Buying meetings, QBRs and End of season reviews.


You’ll have strong analytical and Excel skills, the ability to recognise patterns in large data sets and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and support junior members of the Planning team.


The Responsibilities:


Buying:

  • Signing off the teams buys to ensure they align with team KPIs and targets
  • Ensuring the teams are kept up to date with shift in the business and the correct financials are used to validate each buy
  • Collaborating with Commercial teams to ensure that the teams strategies are aligned.


Trade:

  • Producing weekly trade decks with accurate data and clear lessons learned
  • Collaborating with and supporting the Commercial team on trade actions
  • Managing end-of-season sale strategy


Stock Management:

  • Ensuring the team is maximising available stock through stock transfers
  • Signing off MSSIs and line cards to ensure the right stock volume is available for sale


End of Season Analysis:

  • Ensuring the team are delivering the end of season analysis on time within the critical path so that the right product decisions can be actioned in time
  • Isolate clear actions that can be used to form future seasonal plans
  • Gain clarity on Customer preferences and trends


Range Review:

  • Working closely with the Critical Path Manager and Supply Planning Manager to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Converting the Commercial strategy into a seasonal demand plans and working with Marketing team to maximise Brand potential
  • Working closely with the Wholesale Demand Planning Manager to ensure the range selection has commonality and is overall productive
  • Working closely with the Supply Planning Manager to ensure Demand can be met on time.
  • Support the team Director on any ad hoc analysis or projects


The Person:


  • Experience in Merchandising or Planning within the fashion or the footwear industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of Wholesale channels.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau or Power Bi would be advantageous
  • Great communication skills!
  • You’ve got the hunger for hitting the numbers and happy to talk to about them
  • Happy to ‘Geek Out’ and obsess over KPIs
  • You’ll be a proactive person enthused by the results of your team
  • Excellent multi-tasker who isn’t afraid of a challenge
  • Commercially savvy
  • Positive attitude and of course, a great sense of humour
  • Calm temperament under pressure
