Senior Engineer – Cloud Native AI Detection & Response

📍 Location: Flexible/Hybrid

📅 Duration: 12-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Cloud Native AI Detection & Response to design and build highly scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop distributed systems handling thousands to millions of requests per second.
• Build scalable microservices, platform frameworks, and reusable engineering libraries.
• Design automated testing strategies focused on reliability, performance, and security.
• Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring best practices in scalability and secure development.
• Integrate services across complex ecosystems of APIs and internal platforms.
• Drive incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvements.
• Mentor engineers on cloud-native development, testing, and secure coding practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience building enterprise-grade products.
• 5+ years developing microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Strong expertise in Go, Python, or Java.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and data structures.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud monitoring tools.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex distributed environments.

Nice to Have

• Cybersecurity product development experience.
• Knowledge of AI/ML security challenges and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with Kafka, Pulsar, or Splunk.
• Golang development expertise.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Agent Studio, API Gateway technologies, and open-source contributions.
