Senior Engineer
Metis is looking to fill a Highways and Transportation Senior/Principal Engineer role to provide leadership and technical support for our growing Highways and Transportation pipeline.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Metis has an exciting pipeline of highways and transportation schemes with a growing team. To ensure these commissions are delivered to the highest standards, we are looking for an experienced Highways and Transportation Engineer to assist with client, project and technical leadership.
This role will work within our highways and transportation team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leadership, project delivery, technical approvals and client relationships. They will be a team player and committed to supporting the development of engineers within the team.
KEY OBJECTIVES
The Highways and Transportation Principal Engineer role will cover:
- Client, Stakeholder and Pipeline Management
- Project Delivery, Management and Direction
- Leading, reviewing and submission of Highways and Transportation Projects
- CDM 2015 Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership and Approvals
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 6 years’ experience in Highways and Transportation Projects
- Technically excellent.
- Chartered Engineer
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Capacity to manage multiple projects
- Experience in supporting junior team members, helping them to produce exceptional outputs
- Ability to integrate into a team and consult with clients and stakeholders
- Proven track record in leading projects on time and on budget
