Senior Engineering Manager – Multiplatform - up to £125k + Benefits
We have an opportunity for a Senior Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering with experience across Software, Infrastructure/hardware, and Cloud products to directly influence a high performing Platform Engineering team. The role joins an innovative software company delivering interactive SaaS and Robotics products.
The role will take accountability for the team’s performance and delivery, through effective mentoring and process implementation, but candidates with hands-on engineering backgrounds and AI tooling adoption are preferred.
The company have offices in the southeast and offer flexible hybrid working options.
Required experience:
- An experienced people manager, able to effectively lead and mentor senior engineers
- Leverage extensive tech knowledge (software and infrastructure) enabling senior engineers to work at the highest level
- Extensive DevOps experience – on-prem and cloud, AWS or GCP
- Previously influenced technical architecture / System architecture decisions
- Strong engineering background and software fundamentals – Golang, Python or similar
- Excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels of a business
