Senior Finance Transformation Manager

We're representing a leading global professional services firm looking to bring a Senior Manager into their Finance Consulting practice, focused on Finance Transformation and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).

This is a senior, client-facing position working with some of the world's largest and most recognisable organisations on complex finance challenges, from planning and forecasting, to using data, automation, and AI to make smarter decisions. EPM and Finance Transformation are among the firm's fastest-growing areas, so there's real momentum behind this hire and genuine scope to shape how the practice develops.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their most pressing challenges and designing the right solutions
• Lead end-to-end Finance Transformation programmes spanning budgeting, planning, forecasting, and performance reporting, with hands-on delivery across FP&A, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and statutory group consolidation
• Establish consistent finance data models and design EPM solutions that put insight at the centre of decision-making
• Transform FP&A functions, shifting clients away from manual reporting and towards value-adding business partnering
• Build out enterprise analytics operating models and embed forward-looking performance reporting across Finance and the wider business
• Lead AI-enabled finance transformation, helping clients understand and realise the value of deploying AI and automation across their finance function
• Define new Finance operating models, including the evolving role of business partnering in a digital-first environment
• Run design-led workshops using Lean and Agile methodologies
• Manage and develop your team, coaching junior colleagues and leading by example
• Play an active role in business development, shaping proposals and originating new opportunities

Skills and Experience Required

• A solid track record delivering large-scale Finance Transformation or EPM programmes
• Hands-on experience across FP&A, IBP, statutory reporting, or performance management, ideally across more than one of these areas
• Experience working with complex, multinational organisation
• The ability to build senior client relationships and lead significant engagements
• Familiarity with EPM platforms including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC/SAC, Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, Tagetik, and Board
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with confidence presenting to senior audiences
• Significant experience delivering Finance Transformation or EPM programmes, either in a consulting or in-house capacity
• Demonstrable experience in business development and solution design for large, complex organisations
• A solid understanding of EPM technology and how it applies to Finance Transformation
