Senior FP&A Analyst
Are you an ACA-qualified M&A or transaction services professional looking to move into an analytical role within a growing retail and consumer business?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful multi-brand group with a diverse portfolio spanning fashion, lifestyle and luxury homewares. Operating across 120+ stores with a strong omnichannel presence, the business combines entrepreneurial spirit with established market positions.
With ambitious growth plans and a focus on strengthening its commercial finance capability, the business is looking for someone who can bring a strong technical foundation alongside experience supporting retail, consumer or FMCG clients on complex financial projects.
This opportunity sits within the commercial finance team and would suit someone coming from a Big Four or top-tier firm background, with exposure to transaction services, restructuring, due diligence and complex financial modelling. The role offers broad exposure across the group and the chance to work closely with senior finance leadership on high-impact projects and wider team opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of group-level reporting, including weekly trade, monthly packs and board-level outputs
- Preparing and consolidating budgets and forecasts across multiple brands, ensuring consistency and challenging assumptions where needed
- Producing insightful analysis on trading performance, highlighting trends across channels, products and markets
- Supporting strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis (e.g. new markets, stock optimisation, investment decisions
- Being a key point of contact for group-level submissions, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information shared with senior stakeholders
- Getting involved in ad hoc projects, including strategic initiatives and potential acquisitions
Candidate profiles
- ACA qualified from Big 4/top-tier practice background
- Experience beyond pure audit, with clear exposure to M&A/transaction services, due diligence, restructuring, complex modelling and cashflow
- Experience working with retail, consumer or FMCG clients
- Commercially minded, with the ability to operate well in a fast-paced and evolving environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders
Salary: Up to £65,000 + bonus + benefits
Location: London (3 days per week in the office)
