As they continue to scale, they are seeking their first dedicated Senior HR Manager to build and lead the people function, partnering closely with the founders and senior leadership team to support the next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to create a people function from the ground up within a high-growth, founder-led business.
You will be the senior HR leader responsible for attracting exceptional talent, strengthening culture, implementing scalable people processes and providing strategic guidance to leadership. This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the organisation and genuine scope to evolve as the business continues to expand internationally.
We're looking for a builder rather than a caretaker—someone who enjoys creating structure, solving problems and driving progress in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic People Leadership
- Partner closely with founders and senior leaders on all people-related matters
- Support organisational design and workforce planning as the business grows
- Drive initiatives that improve engagement, retention and organisational effectiveness
- Help balance entrepreneurial agility with scalable structures and processes
Culture & Employee Experience
- Act as a visible and trusted cultural ambassador across the business
- Help maintain a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment as the company scales
- Lead internal communications initiatives and company-wide engagement activities
- Foster collaboration and alignment across multiple offices and teams
Performance & Development
- Support leaders in driving accountability, performance and employee growth
- Introduce meaningful performance measures and development frameworks
- Coach managers on leadership, feedback and employee relations matters
- Manage performance improvement processes with fairness and professionalism
Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
- Partner with leadership on future workforce planning and expansion initiatives
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple business functions and international locations
- Build proactive talent pipelines to support ongoing growth
- Strengthen and develop the employer brand to attract top-tier talent
- Design and manage onboarding and probation processes
HR Operations & Compliance
- Develop and implement practical HR policies and processes suitable for a fast-growth business
- Oversee HR systems, reporting, holiday management and employee records
- Ensure employment law compliance across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage visa, right-to-work and employee lifecycle processes
- Provide expert HR guidance and risk management support
About You
Essential Experience
- Proven experience building or scaling a people function within a high-growth, founder-led organisation.
- Experience supporting multi-site and/or international teams.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on, commercially minded and highly pragmatic in your approach.
- Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to build strong in-person relationships and maintain a visible office presence.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
Desirable Experience
- Background within luxury, travel, hospitality, lifestyle or other premium service sectors.
- Experience supporting rapid business expansion or international growth.
- Exposure to multi-divisional or multi-brand organisations.
