We are looking for an experienced Senior IMS Core Engineer to support the delivery, migration, and operational assurance of large-scale IMS Core and VoLTE environments.
The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, combined with the ability to lead complex network activities, troubleshoot critical service issues, and coordinate across engineering, operations, customer, and vendor teams.

Description
Overall Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Senior IMS Core Engineer to support the delivery, migration, and operational assurance of large-scale IMS Core and VoLTE environments.
The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, combined with the ability to lead complex network activities, troubleshoot critical service issues, and coordinate across engineering, operations, customer, and vendor teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and support IMS Core and VoLTE migrations, deployments, upgrades, and network changes
- Provide technical leadership across IMS, SBC, HSS/HLR and related Core Network functions
- Support VoLTE and VoLTE roaming implementation and service assurance
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis using SIP, SDP, RTP and Diameter signaling
- Lead resolution of critical incidents and technical escalations
- Ensure service continuity, high availability, and operational readiness during network changes
- Support feature verification, interoperability testing, and pre/post-deployment validation
- Review implementation procedures, rollback plans, and technical documentation
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, customers, and technology vendors
- Identify opportunities for service improvement, process optimization, and automation
- Strong hands-on experience with IMS Core and VoLTE technologies
- Experience with IMS migrations, deployments, upgrades, and production support
- Strong knowledge of SIP, Diameter, SBC, HSS/HLR and IMS call flows
- Proven troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working in large-scale, highly available telecom environments
- Experience with major IMS vendors such as Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, Mavenir, or equivalent
