The Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Lead Network Connectivity Engineer will own the global connectivity layer for an exciting scale up business. The role joins at a time of growth, and this position would hold a senior pivotal role across their infrastructure networks.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer would own the reliability and scalability of the global Linux Network infrastructure and devices, including mesh VPN and Wi-Fi, so experience in a similar role at enterprise scale is essential. Candidates with Networking expertise or Senior SRE / DevOps Engineers with Networking backgrounds will be considered.
Required skills and experience:
- Leadership of Automating manual processes across global infrastructure
- Previous ownership of Modern mesh VPN’s (Tailscale or similar) and demonstrate driving improvements where needed
- Provide end-to-end monitoring, alerting, and reporting to improve troubleshooting
- Commercial experience with modern observability tools and scripting in Python, or similar
- Understanding of Cellular Ecosystems and automation
- The ability to work in a fast-paced changeable environment
- Previous experience of AI, Robotics or Autonomous vehicles is desirable
