Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion FMS Solutions

England, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 1 hour ago

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion FMS Solutions to join our global team.

Team and Role Purpose

The Transformation Development team drives Save the Children's organisational change agenda by delivering high-impact, global transformation initiatives that strengthen our ability to achieve more for children. The team works across a broad and evolving portfolio - spanning systems implementation, process reengineering, target operating model design, data, and artificial intelligence - adapting its focus in response to organisational priorities and emerging needs.

Members of the team are assigned to a specific project and are expected to dedicate their full effort to delivering it. However, as the portfolio evolves - whether a project concludes, priorities shift, or an urgent need arises elsewhere - team members may be redeployed to a different initiative. This flexibility is core to how the team operates, ensuring Save the Children can direct the right capability to the right priorities at the right time.

Role purpose

The Senior Lead, Oracle Fusion FMS Solutions is the organisation's expert adviser on Save the Children's Oracle Fusion Financial Management System, ensuring we make smart, well-informed solution choices across a complex, global finance transformation. Combining deep Fusion FMS product expertise with hands-on finance experience, the role advises on solution design, supports the future roadmap of enhancements, and brings the finance subject-matter expertise needed to ensure the solution genuinely works for the teams who use it.

The role holder will advise on the solution design, configuration, and integration of Oracle Fusion FMS with adjacent systems, providing the expertise and assurance that enables the project team and senior stakeholders to make informed, smart decisions. Drawing on deep Oracle Fusion product knowledge - including emerging capabilities and best practice - and their own finance background, they will help shape a coherent roadmap of enhancements aligned to organisational finance requirements, championing scalability, performance, and a reduction in complexity across the estate.

Beyond solution advice, the Senior Lead will help shape how the platform delivers value - informing success metrics and benefits realisation, supporting the establishment of shared support setup and a Centre of Excellence, and working closely with the Project Lead and Global Change Manager to plan for accelerated adoption and sustainable change. This is a high-visibility role requiring senior-level engagement with stakeholders across the movement, working alongside the implementing partner, internal IT teams, and Oracle, to help ensure a fit-for-purpose solution that meets strategic needs. While the implementing partner leads the initial Fusion FMS implementation, the role holder will validate that their designs are fit for purpose and progressively take on that expertise so capability is retained in-house once the partner's involvement concludes. They will also support Members as they adopt the global solution - helping them complete local feasibility assessments, design, and implementation.
