Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Building Services consultancy looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, taking responsibility for mechanical design, client engagement, and project delivery from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver mechanical building services design projects.
• Produce and review calculations, specifications, reports, and technical drawings.
• Attend client and design team meetings, providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support and mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to repeat business opportunities.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3-4 years' experience within Building Services design.
• Strong understanding of British Standards, Building Regulations, and industry best practice.
• Experience using software such as Revit, Amtech, Relux/Dialux, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of BREEAM, renewable technologies, and HV/LV systems would be beneficial.
• Working towards Chartership or membership of a professional body such as CIBSE is desirable.
