Senior Personal Assistant

London, England, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 1 week ago
Job Description

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Personal Assistant to join our Corporate, Finance & Tax Group in our Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity in London (MAPEL) team.

You will be responsible for supporting our lawyers with the day-to-day administration, client management and financial responsibilities.

As a key support figure in client relationship management, you’ll take ownership of administrative tasks, coordinate meetings and events, and ensure smooth communication across teams. You’ll manage diaries, travel, and documentation, support fee earners with billing and marketing, and maintain service standards. With a proactive and organised approach, you’ll keep operations running efficiently, contribute to team development, and help drive client care excellence.

About you:

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual who brings strong communication skills, a professional telephone manner and the confidence to handle routine client queries, taking ownership and acting independently where required.

The successful candidate will be highly reliable and adaptable, with a positive, enthusiastic approach and the ability to build strong working relationships as part of a collaborative team. They will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a conscientious mindset, ensuring work is completed to a high standard at all times.

They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to remain calm under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines. A natural self-starter, they will be confident in taking initiative and driving tasks forward with a results-oriented approach.

Strong organisational skills are essential, alongside advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience using research tools and other systems. Previous experience in a similar role within a Legal Corporate team would be advantageous.

What We Can Offer You:

The opportunity to work for a firm which has been recognised as one of the best places to work in the UK and has been ranked by Great Place to Work® for 26 consecutive years.

Excellent benefits, including:

  • A hybrid approach to office and remote working.
  • 25 days annual leave, with the option to buy up to a week's extra annual leave
