Salary: £32,000 per annum and a 20% evening shift allowance (total £38,400), plus company benefits

Location: Leeds, LS10 1AB

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am with a 1-hour break, unpaid

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Presentations Associate is responsible for creating high-quality, client-focused presentations, ensuring that all materials adhere to brand guidelines and meet design and technical standards. This role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their needs, offering expert advice on design solutions, and leading the execution of presentations with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills. Additionally, the Senior Presentations Associate will support the team in maintaining a high standard of work, managing deadlines effectively, and staying up to date with the latest tools and trends in the industry. A proactive, creative, and client-centric approach is key to delivering impactful presentations.


Key Competencies:

  • Advanced Skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel: Including charting, animation, and working with complex data in Excel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • High Attention to Detail: Must work with precision, maintaining a creative eye for slide layouts
  • Advanced Excel Charting: Capable of recreating charts from hard-copy materials
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is desirable
  • Time Management and Pressure Handling: Able to manage workflow effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Client Interaction: Work directly with clients, taking briefs, advising on design solutions, and ensuring that their requirements are met
  • Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Apply the client’s brand guidelines to all materials and ensure consistency across outputs
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the client team to support the production and amendments of presentations in PowerPoint
  • Client Education and Consultation: Advise clients on the most effective technical and design solutions for layouts and influence them to choose functional and professional designs within their timeframes
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, team members, managers, and IT personnel
  • Leadership Support: Step up in the Team Leader’s absence to manage administrative and operational decisions
  • Standards Compliance: Follow established standards and digital guidelines for branded materials
  • Self-Development: Proactively engage in self-development, utilizing training materials and resources provided
  • Stay Updated on Software and Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest software tools, equipment, and changes to client brand guidelines, communicating these updates to the team
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and share best practices with team members to improve workflow and outcomes
  • Professional Attitude: Demonstrate an enthusiastic, willing, and proactive approach to work, maintaining punctuality and reliability
