As we continue to scale our Energy practice, we are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to help drive the next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional recruitment role.

This is an opportunity to work directly alongside the leadership team to build and expand one of the most exciting areas of our business.

You will report directly into the Managing Director, who is also one of the founders, and work closely with him to develop and execute the long-term growth strategy for the Energy practice.

You will be given ownership of a specialist vertical within the Energy Storage and Energy Transition space, with the autonomy to build relationships, develop a market strategy and establish yourself as a recognised industry expert.

We are looking for someone who wants more than just a billing desk. We are looking for someone who wants to build a market, influence the direction of a growing business and ultimately create and lead a team.

With that opportunity comes accountability. We trust our consultants to operate with a high degree of autonomy and expect them to take ownership of their performance and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop a specialist Energy market vertical
  • Generate and convert new business opportunities
  • Develop strategic relationships with senior decision-makers and industry leaders
  • Deliver retained and contingent search assignments across EMEA and North America
  • Conduct executive-level search projects across leadership and specialist functions
  • Produce market intelligence and insights for clients and candidates
  • Develop a recognised personal brand within your chosen niche
  • Work closely with leadership to shape the future growth of the Energy practice
  • Mentor and support future hires as the team expands

About You

You are a highly motivated, commercially driven recruiter who thrives on winning new business and building long-term relationships.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2-3 years recruitment or executive search experience within Energy
  • Proven track record of billing £200,000+ annually
  • Demonstrable success winning and developing new business
  • Strong understanding of Energy Storage and/or the wider Energy Transition market
  • Experience working with clients across EMEA preferred
  • Executive Search experience advantageous
  • Established industry network highly desirable
