Senior Revenue Accountant

Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 10 hours ago
Intapp's Revenue Accounting team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a fast-growing public technology company. Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, the Senior Revenue Accountant will work with visibility to the VP Revenue, Controller, and CFO — and will be expected to bring both technical accounting expertise and sound judgment to a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

This role owns a broad slice of the revenue close cycle, from deal review and contract analysis under ASC 606 to month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and external audit support. You'll collaborate across Finance, Sales, and Legal, and will be expected to drive process improvement alongside your core accounting responsibilities.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you can expect to:

  • Prepare and analyze deal review packages and professional services contracts, including revenue allocations and agreement review, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policy

  • Execute month-end close activities — including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis — and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for the VP Revenue, Controller, and CFO

  • Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures and manage deliverables for external and internal auditors across review and audit cycles

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, including developing and updating SOX documentation and proactively engaging in process improvement initiatives

  • Research and communicate updates on new accounting standards relevant to the company's business, and build collaborative relationships across Finance, Sales, and Legal to support analysis and continuous improvement

What You Will Need

Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals who like to get hands-on to contribute to the overall success of the business and their team. To apply for this Senior Revenue Accountant role, you will ideally have:

  • 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience at a Big 4 firm or a combination of Big 4 and industry, preferably including exposure to a high-growth SaaS company

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and SOX internal controls

  • CPA license or active candidacy; BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Proficiency in NetSuite, BlackLine, and advanced Excel; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with close attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities against strict deadlines

  • Clear, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders
