The Role

As a Senior Solution Architect (Data & AI Solution Specialist), you will be responsible for designing and leading cloud-native Data & AI solutions for Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance clients. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and outcome-driven architectures, leveraging modern data platforms and AI/ML technologies. You will play a key role in consulting, pre-sales, and delivery, working closely with stakeholders to shape opportunities, define solutions, and ensure successful execution.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead client workshops to identify opportunities in data modernisation, analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory compliance.
• Translate business objectives into clear Data & AI solution strategies and architectures.
• Design end-to-end cloud-native data platforms, including ingestion, storage, transformation, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, performance, and resilience.
• Lead solution design for proposals and RFP responses, including architecture, delivery models, and value propositions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and demonstrations to validate solution feasibility and business value.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and partner teams to ensure solutions are aligned with technical and business requirements.
• Support transition from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring clear handover of architecture and design decisions.
• Contribute to development of reusable assets, accelerators, and best practice frameworks.
• Mentor team members and provide thought leadership on emerging data and AI technologies.

Your Profile

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in data architecture, data engineering, and analytics platforms.
• Strong experience delivering Data & AI transformation programmes within BFSI environments.
• Expertise in cloud platforms and data technologies, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Strong background in data integration, big data ecosystems, and enterprise reporting.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions across the data value chain.
• Experience architecting data platforms using modern approaches such as data products, data mesh, and medallion architecture.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and lineage frameworks.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives for data platforms.
• Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and IT leaders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in solutioning and pre-sales activities.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• BFSI domain expertise across banking, financial services, or insurance.
• Experience working in regulated environments with strong compliance and governance requirements.
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid data architecture implementations.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or data technologies.
• Knowledge of advanced concepts such as DataOps, MLOps, and Generative AI frameworks.
