Senior Technical Consultant

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud.

• Splunk Architect- or Consultant-level certification is mandatory.

• Strong experience with Splunk ITSI, monitoring, logging, alerting and enterprise observability.

• Hands-on data onboarding, parsing, field extraction, transformation and ingestion optimisation.

• Strong SPL skills for searches, dashboards, reports, use cases and performance tuning.

• Good Linux platform and infrastructure knowledge.

• Experience maintaining, upgrading, migrating and supporting enterprise-scale Splunk platforms.

• Production support experience covering incident, problem and change management, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

• Ability to optimise platform performance, search efficiency, reliability, resilience and cost.

• Experience collaborating with engineering, DevOps and application teams to onboard workloads.

• Understanding of security, compliance and audit requirements.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call / 24x7 support rota when required.
