Shift Engineer (Mechanical Bias / Multi Skilled)

Kinmel | Permanent | Site-basedThe RoleWe are looking for experienced Shift Engineers with a strong mechanical bias to join our Engineering team, based at our Kinmel site. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy hands-on mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and driving equipment reliability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.On Offer:£23.33 per hour plus shift allowance - £2.35 per hour42.9 hours per week, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern (12 hour shifts on rotation)Shift times

• 06:00.Paid monthly last Friday of each monthThe RoleTo establish and maintain safe, compliant and effective engineering operations that continually develop the site’s asset base by following the Engineering strategy for proactive work whilst responding to breakdowns.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform planned preventative and predictive maintenance across a range of mechanical equipment and complete breakdown repairs in a timely manner to minimise downtimeCarry out mechanical fault finding, repair and continuous improvement activities across production and site machinerySupport installation, commissioning and modification of mechanical systems and equipmentAssessing the need for spares by ensuring that the critical spares and spares list is up to date and stock is at the required levelsEscalate any issues in a timely manner to the Engineering ManagerEnsuring a safe environment by conducting all servicing and maintenance activities with minimal risk to employees, products and equipment.
